How to stop invitation reminders to your contacts

Last Updated: Feb 18, 2017 09:13AM PST
If you accidentally invited your entire contact list when you joined your Nextdoor neighborhood, you can prevent your contacts from receiving further invitations to join Nextdoor.

While we can't revoke email invitations already sent, there are several ways to prevent future invites from being sent:

  1. If your contact doesn't want to receive reminders, they can stop them at any time by clicking the "unsubscribe" link at the bottom of any invitation or reminder.
  2. You can stop reminders on any invitations you have sent by clicking the "Cancel" link next to the date the invitation was sent on the Your Invitations Page. If you don't see a cancel link, it means that no further invite emails will go to that contact.

The good news is that anyone who does accept your invitation – even if they are from another neighborhood or even another state – will be able to join their own Nextdoor neighborhood.
